Plaza Hotels Group is one of Nepal's finest hospitality groups. Our expertise and passion for our craft has defined our growth for more than 25 years. Established in 1997, we have grown from our first hotel in Kathmandu to a current portfolio of four hotels and travel-related services throughout the country, with around 125 rooms in Kathmandu alone.
Continuing our growth through building hotel properties and the acquisition of hotel management services, we seek to extend our service philosophy of providing truly “clean rooms” by adding hotels in various locations across Nepal.
With services at the heart of our hospitality, we endeavour to create unique and memorable travel experiences and bring joy to our guests. We believe in giving back to society our success is not measured by the number of hotels under our fold, but by the number of lives we touch and inspire along the way.

A Visionary
Hotelier & Philanthropist
Since 1997, YoubRaj Shrestha has dedicated himself to the Nepali hospitality sector with the dream of elevating service standards and showcasing Nepal's warmth to the world. As the founder and Managing Director of Hotel Crown Plaza, he established Plaza Group of Hotels with a vision to grow a homegrown brand.
His journey has been driven not only by building hotels but also by building trust, experiences, and opportunities within Nepal's tourism industry. Alongside hospitality, he has invested in diverse sectors and taken on leadership roles that allow him to give back to society.
Through platforms including the Kathmandu District Football Association, Hotel Association of Nepal, Himchuli Academy and AYB Foundation, he focuses on education by building libraries, supporting rural communities with economic reforms, and providing relief during natural catastrophes.
